Do a lot of people rarely log into their Facebook page?
It's amazing how many people I've added as Friends and only about one-fourth actually accepted. And I checked their pages to see if they rejected or anything and it still says "Pending Friend Request" which means they haven't responded to their Friend requests. Even a few of my co-workers admitted they have a Facebook page, but they rarely log into their account.

So, do a lot of people today create a Facebook page and not log into their account on a regular basis?

Sometimes people will make a new one for different reasons, some people ignore requests if they don't know you, maybe if someone has a picture of their car instead of their face then won't remember them. As dumb as it is a lot of girls I know wait until they get a bunch of requests and then accept them all at once so they appear more popular. I've waited a week for a girl to accept mine thats been my best friend for years and she updated her status and texted me multiple times before she accepted it, just give it time.

Yes, some people don't check Facebook very often. And some people leave it logged in even when they're not at the computer. And still other people use Facebook as a phone app (rather than the mobile version) and it only shows the friend request notification once and then if you don't accept it right away, you don't keep seeing the notification, so it's easy to forget about it...and later they approve it.

It's very possible they don't check it often, or stay logged in but don't view the page, or simply forgot about the request.

And if you are sending friend requests to coworkers, there are two additional reasons why you may not have gotten a response. It's nothing personal - but some people are hesitant about being Facebook friends with coworkers, for 2 reasons: 1) There are people who have been fired over what they posted on Facebook, because their bosses managed to view what they posted there (directly or indirectly, through a coworker friend's profile) and misinterpreted it. 2) Some people, like me, just like to keep their personal life separate from work...so they don't like to "friend" coworkers.
