Ok i'm a gamer on xbox & I play a variety of multiplayer games from cod to minecraft, and im just wondering why the F##k is at&t charging me for some mobile hotspot quality internet. I never had a problem like that with Xfinity. How is Dish' internet like i'm switching to something else immediately.

Dish Internet appears to be delivered via Satellite. As such you cannot get away from the 0.4 second lag - this is a physical constraint imposed by the distance from your ISP up to the satellite and down to your home. If your uplink is also via satellite then you need to add another 0.4 second, giving a round trip delay of 0.8 second. Minimum.
