Illegal stuff online?

Hi. I'm really into chemistry and I was looking up cool science experiments like (baking soda and vinegar) and I can across an "anarchists cookbook" on textfiles.com (seems like a shady site) this cookbook told me how to make illegal explosives like c4. It's really fascinating and it's just for research. Will the bra get pissed? Is this illegal to examine the cookbook?
