Pawn shops, if its newer and worth something. But they rip you off. Ebay or Craigslist will get you the most money. Except for clothes. There are stores out there that buy that stuff. Or, if you pay income taxes, donating stuff for charity can net you the most money, since you can write it all off.

Pawn shops will buy odd things or everyday things. Thrift shops is another way, they take everything but not for much. You can post some stuff on eBay and Craigslist if you want to get the bang for your buck. If your feeling generous you can help out the poor and donate some clothes to the Salvation Army
