That's not how simple it is. Here are general steps
1. Do keyword research through Google keyword tool, Google trends, and Google insights. Shortlist what you have gathered based on monthly search volume and relevancy.
2. Pick a keyword and search Google using that keyword.
3. Analyze the top ten site to know if it is worth pursuing. Use SEOquake or traffic travis to evaluate tasks
4. Once you are sure about it, you can identify backlinks to those top ten sites (using opensite explorer, traffic travis, backlinkwatch, alexa, and similar tools). Then see if you can get backlinks from the same sources.

Asking exact sites to get backlinks is not an assurance since you will need to spend time if such suggestions are quality sites. you might as well spend that time doing what I mentioned above.

Backlinks suck but I suppose we have to play the game. Try Pinterest, Yelp, Youtube. They all allow a backlink from your profile.
