My tumblr inbox is broken?

For a while now, I've been getting messages on tumblr, but when I click the envelope icon to open them, they flash for a split second, then disappear, and my inbox says it's empty. I'm able to see them on Firefox (I'm normally using Chrome) and mobile tumblr, but it's really uncomfortable to access through there.

My askbox is, of course, open, so are anon messages and the theme I use doesn't seem to have any bugs. I've seen people on the web having similar problem but no real solutions besides "it will fix itself with time" (it's been over a month of broken inbox!) or "use mobile app".

Is there any way to fix this glitch?
