I'm all for love and being happy, but I think it's better to keep most of these personal matters private...not only for privacy concerns but also so that you don't put people off. What do you guys think. Is professing love publicly on Facebook T.M.I.? Or am I just too private?

it is annoying fashao. you should keep your personal matters private. You are completely fine. I think the same way you think. Whenever I had to say some to fiance. I would send her message in her inbox rather than writing all over on her wall.

I don't mind what people do on face book as long as they are polite. If you find it annoying you could block these people for a little while until the loving period ends, so that you could stay sane.

T'is highly annoying indeed, I once had facebook and every time one logged on there was millions of messages from womenfolk saying "I love you you hunky perfect man" and "Just dreaming of Sir Dorkington's god like body at the mo" and there was thousands of comments underneath from more womenfolk saying things like "Oh I agree my god he's incredibly sexy, just thinking about him makes me go weak at the knees it does!" T'was highly embarrassing indeed!

I think it is lame and pathetic, and yes, these things should be kept private, not broadcasted on a public forum.

I deactivated my FB account long ago - waste of time and the wretched thing causes many problems. You only have to read the news to know that.

That is VERY annoying to me. And I also hate it when someone uses a picture of both them and their boyfriend/girlfriend as their profile picture.
