Does Internet Explorer on your computer open all links?
Even though I now have Internet Explorer 11, it does not open some of the links that I click on. For the past two years or more I have been using Google Chrome for my default browser because of this annoying problem with IE. The web sites that won't open with IE are entirely safe (some are even Microsoft's own web sites) and Google Chrome opens them without any difficulty. After I got my new computer, I thought I would try it again, but the problem is still there. When I do a search, I find that many people are having the same problem and are now using Firefox or Google Chrome as their default browser because of this. I do not wish to make changes to the Registry but have tried many of the simpler suggestions without success. Any new suggestions to try?

Maybe malware changed your regstry IE or anything else. IE is the first point for viruses attack to steal information to the internet. My IE 10 is nothing but i never use it. I use opera for play internet it's fast less bandwith less process less ram but firefox is still on top for IT learner it's good for html5 that easily create website. I think you don't care about that in this world have multiple choice why try only it if it's not working go to left -> chrome, firefox, opera or maxthon.

The question is. Why do you want to use Internet Explorer? Use Chrome and or Firefox. Internet Explorer is riddled with problems. Leave it on your computer because Windows uses it for certain operations but for your browsing use Chrome and Firefox and you will have a lot less aggravation.
