Adsense is probably the best paying ad system for a blogger, providing you can get the perhaps 10,000 visitors it can take to earn the $100 min payout.

There are pay per impression and even pay per visitor ad networks, I don't know enough to recommend any, but here are some examples of the less common pay per visitor ads:

1. Clicksor (clicksor.com) - Earning Per 1000 Visitors : $5.20
2. Shineads (shineads.net) - Earning Per 1000 Visitors : $4.25/$8.50
3. Infinity ADS (infinityads.com) - Earning Per 1000 Visitors : $4.75
