Happens mostly after a number 2.

Actually rather than looking at and blaming the flush, I would advise you to check the timeout duration on your laptop, router and ISPs end. Is your comp set to sleep after x mins, or is you riuter configured to sleep? Does your ISP automatically disconnect you after x mins if there hasn't been much of an activity? If the answer to any of these questions is Yes, you know what to do!
