That is not a standard industry term.

as mentioned:

Traffic represents visitors to a web site.

World Wide traffic suggest one is getting visits from people from around the world.

(World Wide Airlines is the name of a service that flys to all parts of the world)

For most forms of commerce, a business wants to get visits from a particular demographic most likely to make a purchase, people from other part s of the world are not likely to buy.

World Wide traffic may be a bad thing.

Some ecommerce sites in the U.S. buy very cheap traffic to generate more visits their site, perhaps 10,000 visitors for $5, these turn out to be people from the 3rd world paid to visit, who may not even speak the language on the site, some paid traffic also turns out to be useless software robots.
