How can I advertise my jewelry website?
I have started up a website called http://www.littlemisscharming.co.uk and I don't know how to advertise. I've tried on facebook and google ads and I am getting lots of visitors but no sales. My market would probably be teenage girls. How do jewelry sites become so popular?
Thank you Smile
Don't worry I'm not offended Smile I think getting models is a good idea, thanks.

well im looking at it well, you have great jewelry but the website ain't that good (sorry) you should have models modelling for it, and well have a better layout this well increase the numbers of people because it needs to be an eye-catcher in order of people talking about it to others. if it looks cheap no one would bother telling anyone else about. by mouth i think is the best, if one person brought it they will tell others. yes facebook does help oh and also twitter, and email updates and have little advertisements on teen websites (look it up)
i hope it helps (and please don't get offended)]
good luck

Take an ad on the radio or TV, but that doesn't, because people come on here for advice on insurance, and have never heard of confused.com.

if you're geting lots of visitors, maybe price too high to begin with, try some offers or discounted price for a while. also have you tried advertising in local papers/schools prob need permission from head etc. good luck!

Charms are a hot item these days, so I think you have a good product line and they seem reasonably priced. Now think about things you can do to set yourself apart from others who might sell the same types of products. Offer incentives on your site (like a free pin with the purchase). Create a blog to use as a means of advertisement and link back to your site. Google likes content, so beef up your content to draw more attention to your site. Don't discount word of mouth for advertising purposes. Tell everyone what you're doing. Come up with a logo and catchy tagline and make business cards (you can get cheap ones) to pass out. Host free jewelry parties for teen and tween girls. I don't know if you're aware of this, but there are tons of free directories online that you can register your business for and get your name out there, for example: dmoz.org, merchantcircle.com, praized.com and so forth. Always exhaust free advertising methods first--they're lots of them out there. Good luck!
