You purchase your own domain. Just find a name you like, see if it's free and purchase it. Bluehost is good, use their page to help you purchase your new domain.

1) Many hosts provide you with a webmail service that allows you set up a custom email. However, since I have a cheap host, I prefer to use the superior services of mail.ru, although you can use Gmail or whatever other mail service you use. It's simple to set up your custom email; instructions vary by host.

2) Bluehost is a fine one; I've used Hostgator in the past and they're very good.

You can purchase a domain name from most any website builder. I purchased my first domain name from GoDaddy, and used them for a year. I then switched to http://www.handzon.com, and they switched the domain name to point to my new website I created with their builder. Now I purchase all domain names for my clients from handzon directly. You do not have to purchase the website builder to purchase the domain name. I would suggest that you consider purchasing all versions of your domain name at the same time tho, such as .net .org, etc, to keep anyone from trying to coast on your domain.

Good luck,

Mary Carmichael

I first bought my domain name at namescheap.com. After you purchase the domain name, you sign up for hosting. I also have a wordpress site. I use them with hostgator. I LOVE their support system. (others can take hours and hours or days and days to get back with you about your issue....like you have time for that, right?!) I love their online chat support. If you use the coupon code BADASSDEAL at the end, you get your first month for a PENNY!! Cool huh?? Good luck! Smile

Oh, and as far as the @domain goes, hostgator allows you to choose, plus you get your first month free. After that, its like 2 bucks extra a month!!

If you want a free sub-domain or domain you can get unlimited space and bandwidth at no cost. You can upgrade to a premium package but it's probably not necessary.

Hiii,

If u want an email address which ends in .com
then you should buy a domaIN WITH .COM Extension for example http://www.xyz.com
then login to your cpanel and add email account .. you just have fill some info like name of account owner like "admin" and click on "create an account"
and after few min. you will get a email address = admin@www.xyz.com
example adam@domain.com for that

2 If You are thinking about bluehost, that bluehost is good hosting provider company so your are right because i am also regular customer of bluehost from last 3 years iam satisfy with it.

Its feature are:

unlimited domain hosting
unlimited hosting space
unlimited file transfer
unlimited email accounts
free domain name
free site builder w/ templates
free instant set-up
Get Bluehost hosting in just - $4.95/month*

Soo take your decision carefullyyy
