How much does it cost to build this type of web site?

I want a basic web site with a calander and 3 pages with ads on it. Then a woman that comes out on the home page in 3D and starts talking every time someone goes on the web page.

That virtual avatar thing puts it into a whole different, unless you have proof that trick effect is going to pay for itself, a simpler video may make sense.

A shoestring budget project could use a free host like Google's Blogger.com for the basic 3 page site, pay a spoksperson $5 to make a 30 second video on Fiverr.com you could host on youtube and embed on your site, perhaps investing a big $12/yr for a custom domain name to have a more professional look.

I can't say what a production house would quote some might way $200, others might aim for a much higher cost.
