startmypay.com . . . is this a legit operation . . . it is a so-called referral system?
One is awarded $5 dollars credit for each time one gets someone to click on the link of the site . . . I did not open the site. (But believe it is advertising) . . . This is the only decent info I could find about startmypay.com on the internet
http://www.mybloggingtech.com/2013/11/st...-site.html

Has anyone had any positive feedback on this. I have a friend who is so happy that he has already "earned" §35 on his phone . . .
Add:
I am also the opinion that this is a scam . . . but can find no reference to it . . . if you read further down in the link above, you will see that one first has to reach a sum of $500 before one can "cash" in on the credits . . . and then the fun supposedly starts . . .
It is just so odd . . this site has been up for 7 months and yet, one finds nothing, no positive or negative reports about it.
It seems to have started doing the rounds on the mobile phones in South Africa, and I have even found ads for it on job sites in South Africa . . . if this is a scam, then there will be way too many fold being duped . . . and mobile phoning is an expensive activity in South Africa

Would be happy if someone could come up with some useful info

These are all scam sites. They get all your personal details before you can join and sell them off to hackers and scammers as someone vulnerable to attack. And it would be interesting to find out of your "friend" has actually ever earned ANYTHING from it. Most never pay out. And nobody pays that much for a click. Maybe he owns or works for the site.

It's probably part of a click fraud operation.
They have no intention of paying anything out.

There are websites that provide the WHOIS information about other websites.

DomainTools says this :

as you can see, the real business name and real business address of the business that owns that website is hidden behind a proxy - which means the business cannot be trusted with personal information

Stay away from that business.
