At&t U-Verse problems, help?
I have At&t U-Verse and it was messing up in June. I called the company and they came and replaced everything and it worked fine. Until yesterday and now every few minutes it cuts off and i cannot get it back on until it decides to come back. It when cuts my phone off. I have turned everything off unplugged all the cords, made sure they were good and correctly plugged in. Reset the modem everything, yet it still does this. Any advice on how to get it to stop?

I had the same problem. They came and changed the box, cords, everything. And it would work fine for a while. But then it would ruin again. They came and changed it a lot of times and it still kept happening. Eventually, they told me the problem had nothing to do with the box, cord, or modem, etc. The problem is that I live too far away from the Signal Box. And I just don't get good enough signal. They added a Signal Box closer to my house and it started working fine.

Your problem can be caused by a variety of line troubles (the phone line from your residence to the U-verse service node, which they call the DSLAM). The cable may have a fault, or you may be at the maximum range from the node for a reliable U-verse connection.

Call customer service and tell them your history--you've had all of your equipment replaced but the trouble remains. Tell them you'd like to have the line tested from your home to the service node. I've seen customers get different cable pairs, and I know of one who had two pairs bridged together in order to make one reliable pair. Good luck.
