Question about amazon?

How do I know if it will be a small carrier that will need my permission/code to get through guard gate? Or if it will be UPS or something? And how can I know if it's coming to my mailbox or to my doorstep? And how can I find out if I need to be home? Amazon really doesn't have this info, and costumer service is not helpful. there is no ''code'' to get in, I have to call, thats why it's really important to know.

Amazon only ships through major carriers such as the USPS, FEDEX, or USPS. No worries, they always ship on time too.
