can sex offender have a Facebook?

i reported a sex offender i know to Facebook and i went on a different account because he blocked me, i went on one of his friend's profile and checked their friends and he was not on there anymore so Facebook must have deleted his account permanently. my question is will they let him create a new one? or will they keep his name in their database will the Facebook representatives report him to the police for creating one?

Yes, of course they can have facebook. Technically, 1/4 teenagers could have to register as sex offenders if they were caught sexting. A long time ago, ridiculously, people used to be charged with something called "sodomy" which is simply having any other kind of sex than what the bible says is okay (oral sex, anal sex, homosexual sex, masturbating by penetrating yourself with a foreign object, and in Virginia, sex with the lights on) and these people still have to register as a sex offender. It would be against the law for Facebook to deny membership because of that plus there is no way for Facebook to know.

Yes, by law they can but, Facebook can ban anyone they like because they are a private company. Facebook (also founded by a sex offender who was never caught) has a policy that REGISTERED sex offenders may not have accounts. That means if you have never been caught for urinating in public, downloading porn, having sex with your HS sweetheart, etcetera, then you are free to use FB.

FB is a breeding ground for stalking (C'mon, you know you've done it) and kicking off registered former offenders doesn't make it anymore safe. David Bradt of Colonie, NY was recently arrested for using FaceBook to meet with teen girls for sex and sell them drugs.

Deputy Donald H.was a police officer who was convicted of 4 counts of sexual abuse. He forced several women to perform sexual acts on him. Because of a plea deal with the DA, he does not have to register as a sex offender and has a facebook account. Feel safe now?
