Internet speed issues...?

When I check my internet speed online (speedtest.net) it says that i get 5mb/s at the most but when i check the wifi status (under network connections) it says that the speed is 54mb/s...
Could I have some help?

its not my computer btw, I have the best computer possible haha
Yeah thx DeadEyeKozi in the past ive gotten 1.6mb/s at the most but now its been lagging behind at anywhere between 450 and 650 kb/s :/

That is normal. The 54mb/s is not true as that is the connection speed between you and your provider. The 5mb/s is a great speed speed IF you are downloading large files. I suggest you attempt to download a large file and check your average speed.
