To get followers, follow people.

I found that when i first started to have Instagram, people would just follow me by the pics i put and the hashtags i put up, i remember putting up a picture of Alex Fergusson when he retired and put a few hashtags, that got me like 10 new followers!

Let all your friends know that you now have Instagram. Post interesting pictures. Follow the suggested friends on the list that Instagram will give you. Use hashtags to tell what your pictures are about (a beach scene could be #beach, #funinthesun, #sandybeach, #lovethebeach....you get the drift...use your imagination).
The one thing you should NOT worry about is likes and followers. If you're going to be depressed that you don't get likes or followers, don't start an Instagram! Do it for yourself, with pictures that tell a story about you, or show the things that you like. If you enjoy it, then that's what's important. |

My best advice is to simply not worry about the popularity factor. The numbers really don't matter. Many people who follow others are not even genuinely interested in the content that their connections post; they simply try to fish for people who will follow for a follow, in order to increase the numbers. To these people, having a high number of followers = ego points that define their self-value and apparent "success".
What matters is whether you actually enjoy to use Instagram. Do you really want to be on Instagram, or is there a chance that you may be giving in to peer pressure ? Contemplate the situation and be honest with yourself. You can basically post anything on Instagram that you feel inspired to. Inspiration is always the keyword here. If Instagram or photography in general doesn't interest you, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Instagram may be a popular service, but that doesn't mean it's a match for everyone. I hope you get it sorted out ! |

i thought i'd help out and talk about how to get a great amout of legit followers and likes for beginners. As u can see ive only had instagram for 2 months (@valkren) and i already have 750 followers and almost 5000 likes on my latest picture. Ive also just figured this out 2 weeks ago so it will only take u about a week or 2 to get over 700 legit followers.
Im a guy so i dont really care about instagram, i thought i'd share it to anyone that really wanted some help. I got to the popular page on my latest picture which took the likes from 800 to 4.5k+. Thats the aim, to constantly reach the popular page by my method. Anyway if you wanna know more ask for my kik on my latest pics (that way i get comments and i give you both followers and likers, fair trade no?) i better like the comments . Thnx for reading guys, again ive also made a method for twitter, facebook and youtube. Dnt be shy to contact me through instagram xx |
