iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy Note 2?
PLEASE READ.
hello, I am a 13 years old, male. I am upgrading my phone from a non smartphone, basic, flip phone, making this my first smartphone! Upgrading later tonight and I can't decide..
I want the iPhone because Instagram is better (which I use A LOT), camera is somewhat better, has iMessage, more apps in the App Store, and I need a Mac book for high school and if I get a note 2, I wouldn't make sense for me to get a MacBook. Also, I'm very used to the software and user interface of the iPhone and have iTunes accounts with a lot of money in.
However, I want the Galaxy Note 2 because its a lot more customizable and I feel like it would impress me and be more useful, considering how many more things you can do with it. And I love how you can download free music from apps in the Play Store. I've never owned an android device but I have experienced what it is like. Plus, I want to try something new!
Thank you for your time and opinion.

as a tech, the only thing I care about is the CPU and RAM... which GN2 is a clear winner......

as for your itunes music.... get Doubletwist and sync Itunes music to android. The app is free....

Appstore may have 100,000 more apps.... but Playstore has 64% free apps, while Appstore is only 31% free apps.... you do the math

as for the Macbook, it will work with the GN2...

as for instagram... well.. i dont really use it, but from screenshot comparisons, IOS vs Android Instagram app, I see nothing to complain about

Sure Iphones are great if you like plug-n-play devices with little options and setup and little customization and personalization, "you get this and better like it" philosophy, no external storage freedom, no ROM freedom, and a evil dark empire controlling your OS..... kinda like a Fischer Price LeapFrog toy for adults...

It's personal opinion. I prefer the iPhone 5 because I think the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is too big for a phone. However, if you don't mind the size and you want to try something new, get it. But I think the iPhone 5 is better for the reasons you mentioned.
