My internet cuts out every few minutes?

After moving and losing access to my old router, I needed to get an Ethernet card. I found some Zyxel cards in my grandparents house. So, I had went an took them. After starting up the desktop, it worked fine until this week. I've only had this problem for a few days, naturally it didn't bother me. Now, it decides to cut out every 5-7 minutes.
