Well, first of all, your link is broken. xP

Secondly, it has less to do with how other people think it looks and more to do with what you think and feel. Certain personal aspects greatly narrow the choices down, such as your preferences, the possibility of scarring and/or infection, how long it would take for the holes to stay, and your pain threshold. Also, specific piercings have more risks than others.

For instance, dhalias leave really bad dents, so, if you ever decided to stop wearing the jewelry and allow the holes to close up, it could take a long time for the scars to heal, even with professional methods. Belly button piercings are one of the easiest to get infected. A nose stud might bother you if you have allergies or problems with nose bleeds. Anti-eyebrow, while looking adorable, takes medical surgery to remove. Lip piercings are difficult to keep clean. Corset piercings are easy to get hung on something and tear skin. Hip epidermals are also hard to remove, if you decide to do so.

Ear piercings are honestly the safest bet, especially if it's your first time getting a piercing or you're not certain on the others. Tragus, helix, and reverse-helix piercings are cool, but simple yet popular ear lobe piercings can be equally beautiful.

The main two things to remember are:
1) Be absolutely sure that you want the piercing. It's easier to get it done than trying to undo it.
And, 2) Go to a professional. They know what would look good on you, the pain involved, and how to pierce body parts. If a person wants to use a needle gun on anything other than ear lobes, leave immediately. Guns can cause trauma to the area pierced, raise the risk of infection, and other unsavory problems. Even a needle gun in the hands of a professional can have technical difficulties.
