SEO: Can someone give me an example of an over optimized site, with regards to Google Panda/Penguin penalties?
They say, that after penguin and panda, that you can get some points taken off if you have an overoptimized site. I was curious about this. If someone can provide examples. But not examples of sites with massive keyword stuffing or blatantly obvious.

Like scenarios of what would be considered overoptimized. Thx.

Hi,

The problem with providing a real world example is that the worse offenders will have already been dropped from the index.

Some general rules to follow are:

- NEVER use unrelated keywords to get traffic, e.g. 'viagra'
- Write your website for human not search engines, e.g. it must make sense and be in context.
- a keyword density of over 10% will certainly be seen as spammy.
- spread keywords throughout your page evenly, don't load "above the fold"
- dont repeat keywords iin image ALT tags
