When you pre-order an item on Amazon, are you charged immediately or after the shipment has taken place?
I have pre-ordered the Xbox One off amazon.co.uk I am just wondering whether my credit card should have already been charged, or will it be charged when the item is released and is in the shipment process?

You will be charged when it is despatched. Amazon have said this about all products you buy to ensure you get the cheapest price. Smile
