What is a good camera for me?

What is a good camera for me?
I am 17 years old and I have recently discovered that I love photography. This summer I'll be going to take a summer-camp at a college for a month and I really want to take a camera with me. I don't know too much about photography/cameras so a DSLR doesn't sound like it would fit me...how would I use it and where would I keep it. I am currently an avid Instagramer (With almost 15,000 followers) so the samsung galaxy camera with 4G sounds like a great deal to me! (Because I can post straight from the Camera when I'm at camp and have limited Internet access). I need a medium to small camera but I want it to be a good one. Cost is not my main priority (absolute max at maybe $600) but I have even considered getting a "regular" $200ish camera. I know that some Cameras come with Wifi and i can always activate a hot-spot from my iPhone...but do they have direct Instagram access such as the Samaung Galaxy? The other camera that caught my attention is the samsung nx-series (not sure which number or what the difference is). With the nx would i have to buy separate lenses? Or could I hold off and maybe buy the extra lenses in the future as an upgrade?

My main problem is that I know almost nothing about cameras!

Please let me know what kind of camera i should get! I'm up for any brand except I have had some bad cybershots in the past and i'm not sure I would get another.

The Fujifilm bridge cameras have viewfinders, manual controls and handle like DSLRs while being smaller and lighter.

While this may not be exactly what you want, it's a good place to start.
