am i getting back my money?

hi everyone one week ago i ordered a cell phone via amazon and two days later i received an email that said that there were no cell phones of that tipe available at that time so they would give me my money back but i haven't gotten it back yet
is amazon reliable enough? i mean, am i getting back my money just FOR SURE? im pretty worried cause i spent $400, not just like $15 or something

I can't imagine that Amazon would even charge your credit card before the item was shipped. They usually know immediately if there is any inventory left of the item you want to buy from a particular dealer. You'll get your full amount returned, but it should never had been processed until the item was shipped. It doesn't make sense because it causes them more paperwork with PayPal or the credit card company.
