How can I recover my Twitter password?

I can't access my hotmail (linked to my twitter) because it's saying someone else is using my email, (it's a old junk email btw) How can I get my password back?

From your logged in account, click on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen and select Settings.
Click on the Password tab.
Enter your current password.
Choose your new password.
Save your changes by clicking Save changes.


If you've added your mobile number to your account in your Mobile settings, you may receive a password reset via SMS/text message.

From the Forgot password? page and enter your mobile number or Twitter username.
Select Reset via phone, if prompted.
Twitter will text you a six digit code that is valid for 15 minutes.
Enter this code on the web.
You will then be prompted to choose a new password.
