My twitter app direct messages are messing up?

Okay so my twitter app will send me a notification and a text (I get notifications as texts also) that I recieved a message or reply and then ill go on the app and it won't show the message. It is really annoying and it started doing this yesterday, so now I can't reply to people im talking to and it looks like in ignoring them. If anyone have any idea what has happened or what I should do then please share.

My Twitter was doing this also, and did it for a couple days; and then started working again. Twitter has seemed to be messing up quite a bit here lately. You could always report the problem. But besides that, there's nothing you really can do.
