Should I give this seller a negative or neutral feedback on eBay?
I recently brought a dress on eBay for 23.78 and $5.99 shipping. I’m really unhappy with the dress. Its poor quality it doesn’t fit me properly and the lace part is itchy on my skin. On their listing it says that they don’t accept returns, but I contact them stating that I’m unhappy with the dress. They want to charge me a restocking fee of 20%, which is really high. 20% off $29.77 is $5.95. I would lose at total of approx. $8.70 to return the item. I stated, “I don’t have a problem returning this item to you for a full refund of $29.77 because I don’t want the dress.” They wouldn’t work with me. They still want charge me a restocking fee. I thinking I rather sell the dress on eBay myself to try to get my money back since I’m also a seller on eBay.

Should I give them a negative or neutral? I have been on eBay since 2007 and I only gave two people negative feedback.
The I have contact seller repeatedly. The seller made the products.

Yes leave them neg feed back.. Companys do stuff like that because they know most people wont take the time to write negative stuff about them If a company did you wrong then u should slam them so they lose sales its the only way they change their policys

I would say neutral. The fact that they offered to take it back for a restocking fee is more than they said they would do on the post (no returns). In a way they are trying to do you a favor since you aren't happy.

The dress said no returns - that means NO RETURNS unless there is something wrong with the item.
The seller is being generous to you by allowing you to return the item and get most of your money back.
- to me that means you should give positive feedback.

Additionally, the seller didn't make the dress... the seller is selling the dress so your issues with the dress have nothing to do with the seller - unless the seller led you to believe that the dress was "SUPER HIGH QUALITY", "FITS EVERYONE", or "LACE IS NOT SCRATCHY" why would the seller get bad or neutral feedback?? The feedback is related to how well the seller did, not how much you didn't like the product you purchase.

Zoey,

When an eBay seller states they don't accept returns --- it doesn't mean squat.
EBay's buyer protection policy gives buyers 45-day to file a not as described claim.

That's what you need to do.
You'll receive a complete refund including original shipping --- no restocking fees.

If I was you ---I'd just skip the feedback.
It hasn't been possible to leave negative feedback for buyers for 3-years.
The only way a seller can check on you is to look at the feedback you left.

Us sellers get concerned when you've left too many negatives.
