How has social media influenced our behavior?
Has social media changed our behavior for the better or the worst? It would be nice if you list some examples. Thanks!!

Sup man, our society is so fukced up! I mean people worship Kim kardashian.. Like seriously!? And as for social media, yes it has changed half the world. People think they are all that because they are famous on facebook or have over a hundred thousand followers on instagram. And some aren't fairly different from you and I. They think they are famous because of a social network.. People have also gone hungry for attention on the internet that they start making dangerous stunt videos or horrible music (lol) . Honestly, I hate our society now. I wish it was the 80's, there was good music, fair technology, and very honorable people.

1st read this Question and answer.

It has changed our lifestyle for the bad, not worst.
Social connection between family and friends serves its purpose closely bonding distant relatives together. This is the good point.
Bad point is the sexualization of society has infiltrated the society. Everywhere the media is influencing open sexuality and its provocative materials effect our moralities and mentalities.
Kids 9 to 13 are wishing for BFs GFs while 13 years girl are caught by brothers giving oral sex.
And the list goes on....
Break-ups between couples, mom running off with a hot guy from FB only to be abused and raped and then left for the dead.

Yes, take TV advertisement on products like iphones, why do you think so many ppl have it?, because they see other ppl have it and all over media saying how awesome it is. It doesn't matter how expensive it is, ppl are still going to get it.

===For Better===
- it brings you closer to your friends, family, etc
- helps expand your business/ brand, etc i.e. a helpful marketing tool
- gets your thoughts out & you get to exchange or help share similar experiences/ interests with others

===For Worse===
- makes one narcissistic
- evokes insecurity
- feelings of inadequacy, jealousy, etc
