Question about SEO back links and Domain redirecting (PLEASE HELP!)?
If I buy a domain that is PR5, and has Page Authority of 29 and Domain Authority of 29 from a GoDaddy auction, and redirect that domain to my personal website (hosted under another domain name), will the traffic for my website increase, since basically you're rerouting the daily traffic the auctioned domain from GoDaddy naturally gets?

Domain names that are PR5, and has PA and DA of 29, should be expected to get a pretty good flow of daily traffic right? Is there any way to check an (accurate) estimate of traffic of a domain name/website with any online tools?

Sorry for the newbie question, but I really need to know this.

Thanks so much!

I think that this will be waste of time and money.

We live in post Penguin world and this old technique didn't work anymore. But even worse - such redirections can hurt your site and lower your ranking in SERP.

If you want to rank - it's much better to drive social traffic from social sites, start wroting great content that user will like. Also it's good to invest some funds in ads where this is applicable. But to purchase links - this isn't good anymore and i won't recommend it.
