i get lots of advertising on my facebook and i want to remove it

From your friends? Or on the side? If so, get adblock for firefox. If friends, tell them to quit clicking on random links.

When you begin Facebook you are asked about what you like. Often if you keep these "likes and dislikes" up to date Facebook Ads will appear to be targeting you; which they are. Mark Zuckerberg isn't a Billionaire because 600million people use Facebook. He is as wealthy as he is now because of letting companies post their Ads on Facebook. Companies pay top dollar to get their names across the screens of millions of Users.

Levi's answer was great. I was gonna say that there are lots of adverts on facebook because millions of people go on it and Mark thingumabob probs let's them do it for lots of money
