Adding new artists/songs to your Pandora station?

If you have a free Pandora account, can you add new artists to your own station or do you just have to sit there waiting and giving thumbs down until they start offering choices you like?

yes, all you have to do is click on the station that you want to add artists to, and see the "add variety option below the stations name" once you click on that, it should be pretty straight forward, you can add any artists that you like! Hope this helped you out!
