Can someone copy and paste to make a status?

There is a kid at my school who went to the principal with a print out of "My" facebook status. The page had my picture and name but the status wasnt what I had written. I wasnt on facebook that day at all! So is it possible for someone to copy your name and picture on a fake status?

It's possible someone hacked you. Or made an identical profile of yours. I know you can copy and paste, but can't add the picture and stuff. Time for you to contact Facebook security.
