Why are Facebook and Twitter apps for my android gone?

I bought the Virgin Mobile Optimus V about a month ago. The day after I got it I downloaded the Facebook and Twitter apps. 3 weeks later the 3g stopped working, so I uninstalled all the apps I downloaded to see if that's what caused it to stop working. I tried to download them again a few days later and they're gone. They aren't in the market app anymore. I check every couple days and I can't find them. Where are they and how can I get them?

not sure why its not showing up in the market, but heres what you can do.
open your browser, go to google.
type in "download facebook app for android" and it will be the first thing you see.
*do the same for twitter.
