Chrome and IE are nothing but browsers from different companies (Google and Microsoft respectively)

ADV: Chrome is faster(Loads page content faster) than IE, Chrome has more addons than IE,

DISADV:
IE is the not a popular browser and there are no frequent updates or changes

Chrome on the other hand has raised suspicion (Regarding privacy)

Both the browsers are closed source project (Chrome developed from Chromium browser-a Foss Product)

My Preference when comes to browser always will be mozilla firefox then Chrome.

Chrome and IE have lot of difference based on their speed, interface, security, privacy, ecosystem.
But by seeing their all features Chrome is more secured, having more speed, privacy, good ecosystem and interface.
So i prefer to use Chrome for your safe browsing.

Chrome Advantages:
1.Chrome will perform faster and better web apps store.
2.Every 6 months it will automatically changes to a new version.
3.If a site crashes on one of your tabs, other open tabs will not be affected.

Chrome Disadvantages:
1.Chrome uses up a lot of memory (RAM) when running it.
2.If you accidently close the browser, Chrome will close all the tabs opened without warning.

IE Advantages:
1. IE 9 has made great strides in catching up to its competitors in security.

1. In Internet Explorer it will performance at a moderate speed version will be same for 3 to 4 years.

Internet Explorer is the product of Microsoft and Chrome is the product of Google.Currently Chrome has the majority of the market share.
Its speed is quite fast as compared to its competitor Internet Explorer.

Chrome works good and is faster than Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is slower and much less reliable than Chrome. Chrome thinks its OK to spy on you.
I usually split the difference and use Firefox. Its relatively fast and doesn't crash. Try it you will like it.

Both are browsers but comparing both Internet explorer is better for secure..most of the webpage developing is based on internet explorer .so most pages are better viewed in IE. Now New IE11 more comfortable than other..
