My Facebook Got Hacked?

My Facebook got hacked because someone posted a picture of me that I never posted. And several times they sent messages and friend requests to people I don't even know. Help me, I changed my password but what else should I do so I'm extra safe. Thanks.

A lot of facebook apps get permission to post on your behalf.

I don't know for sure but some of those "login using Facebook" buttons on other sites do have a lot of extra permission like to see all your friends and post things to your timeline.

The only way a facebook account can be hacked is by guessing your password or from the Inside (not likely).

You need to have A GOOD Password that no body can guess.

At the Extreme end, this is an example of a good password used on a Bank Account:

For a FaceBook Account, this would be ok: XZuum4*

Never use real words.
