Fastest internet in rural areas?

I live in rural Kentucky and I currently have my local internet provider wind stream internet and it is terrible. I cant play Xbox 360 online with out lagging and the time it take to load on my computer is ridiculous. I cant get Comcast in my area but I have it at my dads and love it. I have heard about satellite but don't know how good it is and heard that it is unstable. I would like optical broadband because I have heard it is really fast. Please help me find some faster internet.

Sorry, can't help you find what doesn't exist. You can always pay tens of thousands of dollars to have a fiber-optic cable run to your house, but it would be much cheaper to just move.
