Will slower internet speed affect streaming?

I use streaming almost exclusively for watching TV (Netflix, Hulu, ect). I'm looking to cut expenses and heard that going to a slower internet speed can shave a few dollars. will a slower speed affect my streaming?will I have more "signal drops"? Whats the lowest but best internet speed for streaming?

You can try your local ISP broadband internet connection through with UTP cable.

No but it dependent on your broadband speed.

depends what your talking about for slower speed. You really want at least a 10 mbs connection. if you have regulat dsl line 1.5 mbs you might have issues.

THe biggest thing on internet speeds is to watch out for upload speeds. You over 512k upload or else your going to have issues with error check on the stream
