Neat Fundraising Ideas... Someone HELP!?
Ok, so I have until the end of March to get $1000. I REALLY NEED HELP! I am currently having a quilt raffle and have brought in $200, but I still need $1000 more. I am not dumb so NO suggestion like.. Oh, have a grage sale. Yea, no! I need something more. Oh, and not really into the whole donation box thing, so don't suggest that. I really want a nice simple way to raise money.

Other things you should know....

I am 15...

I am NOT a good baker....

I am a good people person....

I live in Wisconsin.....

Buy friendship bracelets with the name of your cause.

200 bracelets at US$5 = 1,000

Your cost for producing the bracelets is US$1

Hello,

Congratulations on taking the first step, which is reaching out to people for ideas. Yahoo is a great resource!

Ok, I tell everybody the same thing when they are looking into fundraising. Find something that your supporters actually want, need or can't live without. Fundraising has come a long way and your more traditional products like candy, candles, cookies, lollipops, etc, are things of the past. There are so many better products available today that will almost guarantee a successful campaign.

Take a product like fundraising cards. Supporters love fundraising cards! Most come with thousands of discounts to popular places that supporters already go to on a daily basis. It's a win-win situation, they support your group and in return, get to save a ton of money throughout the year. There is no reason for them not to support your group.

Very important, do your research on fundraising cards and make sure to pick one that has a ton (thousands) of discounts. The more discounts that come with the card, the more supporters you can sell to, as there will be a discount for everyone - and that equals more money raised!
