Change facebook profile pic?

I want to change my Facebook profile pic but I don't want it to come up on news feed. I basically don't want anyone notified that I have done. Is there a way I can do this? I can't change my profile album to only me I've to change every pic one by one.

Yes. When you upload a photo, set the privacy button (world, or two people icon) to custom. And then there will be a setting to "only me" with a lock icon. When you make it your profile picture, click on your picture and do the same thing. The icon is usually below your name.
