Ads, Ads everywhere!?

Recently, out of nowhere, i've been getting tons of ads popping up. I use Google Chrome as a browser. Ads open in new-tabs and normally appear whenever I click links of any sort, Once clicking a link they either take over that tab as an ad or pop up a new tab for the ad. What is causing this and how should I go about getting rid of it?
I've tried it on sites where it has never happened before, it's happening on every website I use. I've ran Malwarebytes-Anti Malware and CCleaner Pro scans multiple times in hope they'll fix anything. Nothing so far :/

It kind of sounds to me like you have a virus... have you ran your virus scan lately?

As said above a virus might be the problem.
There are also sites that use pop ups or pop unders whenever you click any link on their site. Try out with some sites that you know do not use these things, if you still get the ads it is probably caused by a virus or 3rd party program.
