my internet drops for a few hours at a time ?

It'll work fine for about 4 hours then drop and say ''no internet access'' for about 2 hours ...
it happens at around the same times every day
around 5pm, 12am, 8am and 3pm

All my devices can connect when it drops but it doesn't have internet access.
even when I reset the modem and router it still does not work
I don't get internet when using the ethernet cable either ...

It's really frustrating :/
any ideas why this happens ?

I called my ISP and they ran me through steps till they couldn't figure out why it's not working
they said I'm not receiving and IP address and they hung up on me

Try pulling the power cord out of the modem/router for a bit.
