Registering for Google Analytics is the best option as it gives you almost every information about your visitors.

As many have already said Google Analytics is probably the best tool to use for the future. But this will not tell you the past. Assuming you have a paid hosting account they will almost certainly have some tool which will show you prior activity from the web logs. This could be one of many tools depending on your hosting company.
