What do you think of my Hair and Makeup Artistry Skills? (link to Facebook Page)?
Hello! I am an 17 year old aspiring makeup artist, and I try my best to live my life as vibrant as the eyeshadow on my eyes. Although Im not up there with the pro's, I soon hope to get there one day. Ambition and hard work is all it takes! Not only am I skilled at makeup, but I can also do hair. Knowing the basics, but I am not a professional. Makeup is more of my forte. I've done each hair style listed in my portfolio, if that helps you visual a better picture of my talents. I was hoping to get some feedback and constructive criticism to whether my skills were good or not. And One other question I had is, would you hire me? And if so how much would you be wiling to pay for my work? Or In other words how much is my work worth?
Here is a link to my Facebook Fan Page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Aaliyah-th...6979710136
where it showcases all of my work.
Feel Free to like and comment while you're at it!
Please support me and like my FB page as well. Thanks!
Your input is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Aaliyah xoxo

The skills are there,I can see that.I suggest you go to college and do the necessary courses (make up AND hair, you will extend your client base that way).Keep doing your friends and family make up and hair as practise and I'm sure you will get there.Work on a range of looks - not everyone likes vibrant looks, and if you want to move into the lucrative business of wedding hair and make up then you do need to have a good basis of natural looks

Where you are now,I wouldn't hire you,you just don't have the experience.I would however let you practise on me (hair and make up is one area of womanhood where I'm an epic failure).Once you are trained up though, then I would consider hiring you.The worth of that, who knows? You would need to look at prices in your area and then take off 10% as a new starter and also maybe offer a further discount for those who are willing to allow you use of their image in your portofolio
