Is there something wrong with my internet or is it my router?

I have windstream internet at 3mbs download and 1 upload. When ever more than one device uses the internet, it is beyond slow? Is something wrong?

do you have a tv in your house? if you do, check for any splitters that are more than 2 way, and if you see more than one, get rid of it and replace it with a screw they sell at most local stores. splitters can greatly reduce signal

No you just have slow internet, for multiple devices you will want 15mbs or faster.
