Why is Firefox eating up my computer's memory?
Firefox memory jumps up to 300,000K range after a few minutes of running. I did system scans, malware scans, updates, etc, Firefox web site is no help.

This is normal, it is caching a lot of information. Unless it affects your computer's performance, I wouldn't worry about it.

This is what Firefox does, and always has done; it's eating 342K on my machine even as I type. There is no cure, save to restart Firefox once in a while.
