I'm using Shutterstock for some time now, and continuous flow of income. It is the most popular market place for photographers. You can reach over 500,000 customers and start earning money right away. The vetting process here is bit stringent but that means if you’ve got high quality photos you’ll be sure the the audience is there for them. You’ll be assured to be using a very good marketplace with Shutterstock. You can register as a photographer here:

There are some other stockphoto sites as well (eg: istock, 123rf), But shutterstock has being my best marketplace.
