Is this a modem or router issue?
I have a modem in my room which has a my Playstation 3 wired in. It also has my router connected to it. I'm starting to question if it's my modem or my router causing the issue. When I use my ps3 i'm able to sign in and play games when I want without an issue. But when i go to use the browser (No reason to do it, i just use it to test) it doesn't do anything it won't search anything. My wifi thing won't connect even though it comes up as an option to select. To sum it up, I'm able to find games but can't use the browser. And i can't connect my wifi devices even though its an option. I've reset both things several times with no difference. Is there anything I can do because i'm tired of this issue. And I do not want to schedule an appointment to have a Time Warner guy out here. Any help would be great.

Your connection is totally wrong. NEVER connect anything to the modem except the router. You are causing IP and traffic conflicts as the modem knows nothing about routing or identifying individual machines. ALL devices must connect to the router.
